yeah, lj's where i put my quiz stuff
(dammit, the daemon movie won't load.)

i bet i did one of these last year. probably not the same one. says my daemon's a tiger named nithreus. says "modest, responsible, a leader, soft spoken and competitive."

i'm barely in chapter one of the book, but daemons are opposite gender of their owners? So, um, would my daemon be on estrogen right now? How would that work?

I'm up too late at night, but I don't want to get invested in imagining a world where i'm not allowed to exist.

excuse me: men and women have separate *spheres*, and there's a particular *balance* that needs to be maintained? thank you, no.

maybe your daemon would automatically switch gender. "his dark materials" doesn't even get as far as gay people, so: no telling.

What's weird is the gender separation at Oxford. No woman was ever in the study, blah blah blah. But everybody in there had a female daemon. Given how close people are to their daemons, wouldn't they . . . oh nevermind.

meh. it's not just gender that's a social construction, it's also physical sex. A lot more people are born every year with ambigious genitals than you would guess. And thanks to pharmecuticals in drinking water, including birth control pills, that number is going up a whole lot right now. The only benefit of pollution.

(I know a bunch of words are misspelled there. Please avert your eyes from my poor spelling.)
